Renegade Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 Never built a Mobius kit but I will have to get this one, and the utility bed looks great.
Eshaver Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 I would buy one just to have another 240-300 Ford six . I have a 1978 Ford flareside as a delivery truck ....
Jon Cole Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Chuck, thank you for all those detail shots! It appears that the overhang is nothing more than a rain gutter. I can use Evergreen stock for that. No matter, as I want to buy one. Also, it looks killer as a monster truck!
thatz4u Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 one thing I have noticed, the hood on this Moebius truck appears to fit rather well......
COChef Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 I have this kit and am in the middle of doing it as a US Navy security/utility truck from my childhood. My Dad was a lifer in the Navy and I saw these trucks at every base we were stationed on during the 60's They were painted Haze Grey with white bumpers and grill no chrome at all . Black interior even missing hub caps LOL Keeping my fingers cross
stavanzer Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Boy! Somebody has a UCMJ Article 15 Hearing to go to. That first pic shows just how strong those truck were.
thatz4u Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 this kit builds up really nice....also has surplus parts...
Tom Geiger Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Yup I remember those trucks running around Cigli Air Force base in Turkey when I was a kid. They also had tons of Dodge 4 door pickups. Every one I've seen in private hands later in life started out as a military vehicle. I'll bet they were created specifically for a government bid.
junkyardjeff Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 I noticed a 65 long bed at the hobby shop today, with some 8 lug rims and tires from Scenes unlimited I could have a F250.
Brian Austin Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 What happened to that poor Dodge? Rusted frame?
stavanzer Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 Possibly Rust, but that does not look like an area where rust is common. I'm betting it is an "Operator Error".
