Mario Andretti’s last win

This will be headed to Atlanta with me next month.  I used the Tamiya Lola snap kit and Shunko decals.  Paint is all Tamiya, no clear, just polished out with Gravity polishes.  I filled the seam on the lower nose too.  I should have this wrapped up in the next week.

Now that is a build not many do. Fantastic build! How did you find the fit? I have a couple of these in the stash.

The fit is pretty good.  The biggest issue that I had was the plastic.  I’m guessing it’s the age, but it’s very brittle and I had a lot issues with the tabs breaking off.  I had to glue a lot of stuff together, but it wasn’t that big of a deal.  The kit decals were also unusable.  I got the Shunko set and the Indycals sheet for the neon numbers.

I was concerned about the clip tabs, that is why I asked. I would just cut them all off anyway.  Great looking build dude!
