The hard fought build of the F40 is done. I learned a lot of what not to do with PE parts (my first time). It’s not perfect but I’m happy overall. I gotta do another one of these, maybe yellow tho...

I can see why you're happy with it! I'm guilty of over criticizing my work as well!

Have a few Ferrari builds coming up myself....is that the Tamiya kit?

It’s the Fujimi.  I have a hard time seeing past every flaw that I know exists.

It's just my opinion, but I've found that the Tamiya kits are generally better. By better, I mean crisp, clean and very sharply detailed. There is never flash, and the way they pin them to the sprue is close to perfect.

I'd say you did a great job with that car, and look forward to your next?

You did a fantastic job here, bud!!!.....I actually prefer this kit over the Tamiya versions.  Can I make a little suggestion?.....paint your front side indicators with silver paint, then cover that with clear orange. They will look like realistic lights......keep up the great work!!

Almost bought the Tamiya yesterday when I saw it at the LHS. This one was still enjoyable, and I have 3 more Fujimi Ferraris (plus I have it on good authority the wife is giving me 3 for Christmas). Thanks for the compliment.

Oooo. Good idea. I did orange but you can’t even tell. I hit it with the motlow (?) first. Thanks!!

Nice result, Will! Kinda whetted my appetite... I got this kit too... B)

I’d say it’s worth it. I’ve seen a few on eBay for $20. I can’t wait to see what you do.
