This one has been on the shelf for a while. The paint is Boyds Orange Pearl with Boyds Super Gloss clearcoat, airbrushed and then polished. This is a box-stock build with the exception of wheels and tires from a '32 Ford three window, MCG photoetch and some BMF.

Simply beautiful, with superb detailing. That's a winner for sure! Good choice on the wheels and tires, perfect for '60s muscle. A build to be proud of.

outstanding. Looks great!

Makes me think I should have build this kit instead of my 250

Excellent in every way. Great color choice, the wheels are a nice touch and the p/e adds to the overall realism established by the super clean build. Very nice underhood area, too. Two thumbs up!

looks awesome!!!

is the rear spoiler from a '69 camaro kit??

I have one sitting about 80% completed since '05, I should probably pull it out and finish it!!

just needs BMF and final assembly..

looks amazing

i specifically like the detail in the light trim and the wheel wells, looks very realistic

only one question though, why paint the front lip black and match the rear spoiler to the car?

is that stock or personel preference?

Thanks for the kind words, guys! It was a fun build.

The spoilers are from a 1969 Revell Camaro painted the way I remember my good friends' car back in the day... The rear was body color and the front was a semi-gloss black. I built this one from memory. Those were the days!!!

Very nice build. Those wheels and tires are perfect for this car. Love the color and all the detailing makes it look very realistic. Great job.

the factory painted them that way on 67-69 Camaro's

you could get a factory front spoiler on firebirds, but the only factory rear spoiler was on the '69 Trans Am's

people who want a rear spoiler on their 'birds install the camaro spoilers. the firebirds and camaro's use the same trunk, so they bolt right up.

I just love it! That's all I'm going to say, it is just pure car porn! B)

Nice John, I have about 5 of those kits and have never put one together, I think I will have to do something about that!! B) Love the color you chose for this and the stance is just perfect!! ;)

B) Dude, I'm with Marcos on this one, I got a few of those kits I haven't even messed with, But your build is just too clean to let em sit! GREAT BUILD! I ESPECIALLY like the way you foiled the louvers on the rear quarter panels! THAT little detail often goes over looked when guys build this model, But it makes ALL the difference in the world! Again, GREAT BUILD!!!! ;):P;)

Thanks man. The louver detail is actually a portion of the MCG P/E set. Had they not been included I would have easily overlooked this small but important detail.
