This will be almost 100% factory stock, so I'm looking for period-correct whitewalls.  AMT's original standard Firestone tires are OK as far as height, but are too narrow for a full size car.  Decades ago, MPC offered a Goodyear bias ply whitewall, which would probably be ideal if it was available in resin, but I haven't come across the whitewall version in any of my searches.

I've heard Moebius has a decent whitewall, but having never held, let alone seen one up close, don't know if they'll fit AMT wheels without modifications.

Pegasus whitewalls are not being considered as they are intentionally short.  IIRC they are intended for low riders.

Ahh I see you are having the same problem I am with my 65. The supplied slicks and white wall tires supplied just won’t cut it. Have you considered red line tires from AMT? I’m probably going to go this route, with steel rims, and the dog dish hub caps from the 66 Fairlane 427.

If you found the correct size tires in resin, why not paint your own whitewalls on them?  It will be really easy to do that on resin (as opposed to on vinyl).
