DanR Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 If you're familiar with this Lindberg kit, you know that the tires come in halves. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best glue to keep these together? I have had similar tires in the past and styrene glue does not work so well. Thanks!
RAT-T Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 HAVEN'T TRIED THIS YET, BUT WONDER IF IT WOULD WORK https://www.ebay.com/itm/2oz-THICK-BLACK-RUBBER-TOUGHENED-CA-Cyanoacrylate-Super-Glue-2oz-ACTIVATOR-PKG/262265015357?epid=1168772309&hash=item3d10368c3d:g:1h4AAOxyuOtRbFDf:rk:2:pf:0
cobraman Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Not exactly the answer your looking for but when I built one of those 1/12 scale Lindberg kits I replaced them with some resin ones. Bought them on ebay.

Thanks!

Oldcarfan27 Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Find a vinyl repair adhesive or shoo goo. Those are flexible adhesives meant for that type of material.
bbowser Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 If they're slicks I've heard of wrapping the tread with black electrical tape.
Deuces Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Or.... You could try using the slicks from the AMT Shaker Trike kit... Those are 1/12 scale....
