Hi fellas, I’ve started this. I’m pretty impressed with this product. Going to build this OOB. The only modification I’ve made so far is drilling out the exhaust pipes. The body work needs a clean up, but it’s not too bad. Ben

Got mine today too. My wip post will be up soon too. You're right, its not a bad kit, much better than the C7R.

Just a couple curious questions as I'm not that crazy about the racing livery. Can this be built as a 'regular' street car? Are the differences that major from the street version other than the graphics among other things?

You could or you could get one of the snap kits and then bash the two together. It's basically the same cad files for both, they just tweaked the GTLM car for the racing parts. The two piece body design is the same. I've got a couple, I'll check and see how some of the parts work together. Or wait for Jan/Feb and get Tamiya's road version.

Here are the areas that need improvement. Some things such as the mould seams behind the doirsvneed sanding. Ben

Oh you and me both....this 1:1 car has been a blessing to Ford Racing especially her second year out, she has truly made us proud at Ford...
