espo Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 I wonder what the life expectancy of this soldier would be in an actual battle ?
Belugawrx Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 You mean High speed ,light assault Vehicle,.....
espo Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 Think about it. You have a large caliber gun that will have a recoil. Your Armor is minimal at best. I think any Marksman First Class could hit this guy below the Armor and that wouldn't end well.

Zombies, for example, don't seem to be particularly adept with small-arms...though I don't see the limited ammunition carrying capability as providing a sufficient number of rounds...typically squeeze-trigger-sprayed...to counter a crowd of charging un-dead, with each one usually requiring a head-shot to stop. Accuracy may be a problem too while moving, even if the weapon is on single-fire. Edited December 26, 2018 by Ace-Garageguy

1930fordpickup Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Ace are those am boxes in the front under the gun? Still not enough but better than on foot.

That's what I assume, but I don't see any belt. Reloading on the fly could be exciting. Looks like there might be a gas tank behind the pilot too. Maybe has a little one-lunger for extra speed? I'm also guessing that "x-ray vision" may be one of the prerequisites for anybody assigned to train on it. Might help to be able to aim through the armor plate. And you gotta love a guy who wears a bowler to a zombie encounter.
1930fordpickup Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Yes the whole thought of this is funny. Almost looks like he is trying to look out the slot for the barrell to aim and drive. Looks to be a gas tank in the middle of the frame as I see a cap of some sort. Maybe it is a big canteen to hold the liquor so you get the guts to try and use it. I think the recoil may help in retreating.
cobraman Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Nobody could hit him, they would be laughing too hard !
