BeakDoc Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Picked up this kit when I saw it drop to $18 and some change on Hobbylinc. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of detail put into this kit and equally frustrated by the fiddly nature of the same details. The paint is Tamiya Pearl Light Red over gray primer and the roof is Model Master Wimbledon White all with 2 coats of Ultra Gloss clear then polished.
donb Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Wow. What a nice model! The interior is gorgeous!

Classicgas Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Very well done. Just one note, exhaust manifold should be a dark steel color.
bill lanfear Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 This is one of the better builds of a 57 I have seen. Well done! Helpful hint, if I may....the steering gearbox and column should be lowered down to the frame (between engine and inner fender). Great work on this build!
Rob Hall Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Sharp..like the color combo. That exterior color reminds me of the color of a Matchbox '57 Chevy that was one of my favorites from childhood.
Dave Darby Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Great job on an under appreciated kit. Looks great!
Zoom Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 I agree with the comments abowe. Otherwise it looks great!
