The straps are yellow ribbon that I got from hobby lobby, and I used what are called ‘splice clips’ to attach the straps.

splice clips are a U shaped automotive electrical connector, they are used to splice wires together, in their normal application they are crimped and soldered, in this particular application, they were just pushed onto the edge of the trailer bed and lightly squeezed together, this way I can remove the straps if I want .

Thanks all. I am in the home stretch , all that’s left are stacks, roof lamps, tail lamps and fender mud guards, after that, I think it’s done.....

Great build and very nice trailers.

The budhole rims on the trailers are awesome, simple but awesome.

Hermann.

Thanks, I think sometimes a budd style wheel just seems ‘right’. Everything else is always spokes or chrome/aluminum wheels, these make for a nice change of pace.

Well, it’s done:)  I’m going to try to get some good outside pics eventually, but here it is for now.

Looks great, a really nice job!!! you could still top it out with one more though, as long as it is chained, or you could flip the top one and maybe get away with just straps ( I allways chained them as well as straps though just to be sure) anyway excellent work!!!
