What a beautiful car. There is a pervasive minimalism that I like. My first car was an MGA. I still think reaching inside is the right way to open a door.

Thanks for posting this. I’d never heard of this car before. Maybe RoG can bring out a kit? (ducks)

Glad you guys liked the vid. If you didn't notice, one of the coolest things is the explanation of how modern digital interpretation of old photos and drawings was used to develop hammer-forms that the body panels were made over in the traditional way.

To get the commentary in English, you have to enable the "closed captioning" thingy at the lower RH of the screen.

I understand they found this drawing for a coupe in the Zagato archives while they were doing the research.  I believe this body style will be offered as well.

^^^ Reminiscent of the 356 B-based Carrera Abarth. Some sources credit Zagato for the design below, while others cite Scaglione.

"Porsche cognoscenti will know that there was a special series of Italian-designed, 356-derived vehicles built in the 1960s. Known as Porsche 356 Abarth GTL Coupes, these rarities were, initially, supposed to be a collaboration between the houses of Ugo Zagato and Carlo Abarth, the latter a still-celebrated name in tuning. But for a host of logistical reasons and miscues, that deal fell apart and left only Abarth as a collaborator with the German marque."

This doesn't clear up who designed the body however.  I have a 1/24 scale resin body of the Abarth but no glass!!
