Fifer Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I just finished this about two weeks ago and really liked the quality of the metal kit. Used Tamiya paints and Indycals decals and all came together well. Mike

Gramps46 Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Great looking model especially for the size. Well done.
Safire6 Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 This looks like a very accurate reproduction of the 1:1 car. (Although I've only seen it in pictures.) About 16-17 years ago the company I work for acquired Paxton Products from the Granatelli's in Camarillo, CA, the industrial division of Paxton superchargers. I met Vince Granatelli several times and he gave me and several others these signed photos. (Along with lots of STP stickers and magnets.) The building had an engine test room in it at time with an engine, although I cannot say what kind of engine it was. I wish I took some photos but I didn't. I recall that there were dozens of cases of old STP cans stored up high in the mezanine of the building. Wish I had kept some. Nice diecast and decals!

That is way cool and here is a image of the car as it appeared in the actual race. Mike
