Glue on BMF

Do I just put glue right onto BMF when installing windshield?

I don't quite understand your question. Are you asking if you should glue the windshield in first before BMF or after?

I put the BMF on before then install the glass. Less chance of scratches if you need to trim the BMF but others techniques may differ.

BTW, PLEEEEASE don't use regular cement for glass! Only use 5 min epoxy, or some type of white glue depending on the shape of the glass.

I wonder if he is talking about the individual "glass" panes which fit from the outside of the body, not the more common "glass" insert which gets installed from the inside?

I’m sorry. What I’m asking is after I bMF the trim around the windshield. Do I just glue the windshield right onto the BMF.

I like to trim most of the excess away if I can, then glue the windscreen in place.  If for some reason the excess is not easily trimmed away from the inside of the body and you feel it is well adhered to the body, then glue the windscreen to it. In most cases though, I would avoid gluing the windscreen to only BMF.

I have done it before without any problems.  Here is an example.

Yes it is.  Also have the MPC kit in the closet.  Will build that one of these days.
