michelle Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 (edited) this was a 71 gtx was a parts car it was missing it's roof and wheels and tires and wheel backs most of the engine so i took a roof from a 69 superbee body i had and merged it with the body even though both were monogram kits and 1/24th scale it was not a easy joining of the roof to the body i used valve covers and air cleaner and carborator and fan belt and fan from my parts bags to rebuild the engine the hood also does not fit the body right either for some reason i painted it with kylon shimmer metallic black cherry decals came my decal box Edited June 28, 2019 by michelle
espo Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Great idea for the roof. You will be hearing from the Mopar faithful about your valve covers soon. They look like big block Chevys to me. I like the body color.
CapSat 6 Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Cool. Looks like something out a video game or animated show...like "Driver", or "Interstate '76", or something...and yes, that's a big-block Chevy in there. Adds to the mystery!

Claude Thibodeau Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Hi! The rear profile looks a bit like some concept prototypes that Mopar dealt with in the early stages of the 1970 'Cuda development... Nice color! CT
