maltsr Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 (edited) This is the Tamiya 1/24 Opel Calibra from the 1994 DTM season, driven by Keke Rosburg. Superb fit and engineering we expect from Tamiya, hard to believe they were achieving this so long ago. Even the 25 year old decals went down beautifully, although the large door decals were challenging as they also covered the top part of the one-piece front. Paint is Tamiya White TS101 straight from the can. Edited July 17, 2019 by maltsr
Cpt Tuttle Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Tamiyas have always been fantastic. I like old Opels so seeing a Calibra being built and with such a good result is nice.
Peter Lombardo Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Looks great.... built that also, many years ago. Sharp looking race car.
Jim N Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Great job! Built one of those a number of years ago. It was a fun kit.
sure rock co models Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 looks sick! good job! love building those kits for that reason.
Gt fan Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Well done. You hardly ever see this kit built. Great job.
