Matt T. Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Is there a kit source for a correct 1/25 ‘70/‘71 GTO Judge deck spoiler? Or something close for a starting point? Thanks.
Casey Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 The 1/25 AMT '69 Hurts/Olds Cutlass has a rear spoiler which is close, but not quite exactly the same from what I recall. The circa-1969 AMT ACCellerator Corvette kit has a rear spoiler with the correct shaped end caps (or close, they are still a bit thick), but the spoiler would need to be widened and thinned, and new pedestals added:
Can-Con Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 I think your best bet is just make one from sheet plastic. Pretty easy as all the parts are pretty flat.
Snake45 Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 I believe the resissued MPC '69 GTO funny car has the Judge spoiler in it. I'll try to doublecheck. It's in the Monogram '69 Judge, of course. It's 1/24 but shouldn't be a huge problem to chop it down a little to work.

fiatboy Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 I have The Judge funny car 1/24. But I'd like to trade for the whole body, that's the problem you see!
Casey Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Another possible option is AMT's T 379 Pontiac Ventura Sprint II kit:
