DiscoRover007
Hey guys just thought I would pass along a great deal for sand paper I found on Amazon. Its a hell of a deal vs what 3m and modelling shops charge for polishing pads and sand paper. Just bought 54 pieces of 1000-5000 sand paper for $9 and then a another assortment of 3000-7000 grit for $8. I imagine I wont need sand paper for quite some time. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q3D57N2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078HG5R8W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=

Dragonhawk1066
Thanks for the heads up! Don't need any at the moment, but put it on my wish list.
Mike999
Thanks! I may use that. Another good use for fine-grit sandpaper: quick road (or runway) surfaces for diorama bases. It looks a lot like asphalt. Just glue it to the wooden base and instant road surface! I've seen it used for cars, armor and aircraft. In this pic, the carrier deck was made from a piece of sandpaper. Notice how the builder added skid marks, painted lines, etc.
