Randy Kern Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Sorry purists, but since it really is a 'Vette, I decided to give it a more muscular look with wheels from the Stars & Stripes Greenwood race 'Vette. Certainly no Fujimi kit, this still builds up into a fairly decent replica.....of a replica I've always liked this body style in yellow, so I went with Tamiya Chrome Yellow with a tan interior. Just a quick, fun build of a neat car. Thanks for looking. You gotta love an exhaust that hangs only two inches from the pavement
Randy Kern Posted September 20, 2008 Author Posted September 20, 2008 Not much to see in the engine bay.
ModelKing Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 i like it i have always liked that kit. great job
george 53 Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Wasn't the "Vice' Ferrari suposed a reworked vette? It looks real enough, but the right side of the dash does look vette-ish.Anyway, you dun a gooood job on that one!Looks really nice!
RodneyBad Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 A most Excellent Job. The looks of a Ferrari and the reliability of a, of a, a Chevy..(that was tough) Atleast it'll be affordable to fix. I love it..
crispy Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Nice work! I like your wheel choice. Looks great! Chris
gary westervelt Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Very nice indeed.I like the color.
lizardlust Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Cool phony Pherrari, Randy - it looks about as nice as a Fujimi piece(as long as you overlook the 350!)!! If it was REALLY the "Vice" ride, by now wouldn't it have a set of crusty "Hammer" knockoff rims, a punched ignition cylinder and a cracked windshield?? Only in Dade County - where the beer trucks have tail gunners!
Zoom Zoom Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Great Fauxrarri! Those wheels do look great on it. Hmmmm...wire wheels on a C3 'Vette...hmmmmm....
Raul_Perez Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Another nice, clean build, Randy!! I'm glad to dee that you're back at it!! What's next?
RadRidesByDan Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 That is SOOOOOOOOOO KOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
robertw Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 That looks good and it looks as Italian as a bottle of Chianti until you lift the hood or look underneath to see its Kentucky Burbon roots. robw
