SfanGoch Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Today is the birthday of two people who left their marks on America. First, Happy Birthday to Mary Mallon, better known as Typhoid Mary, who was born on this date in 1869. Today's second celebrant is none other than the husband of Ava Gardner and seven other lucky gals, none other than Andy Hardy himself, Mickey Rooney born Joseph Yule, Jr. in 1920 at 696 Leonard Street in the Garden Spot of The World, Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
cobraman Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 I like those old Andy Hardy movies. TCM plays them often.
SfanGoch Posted September 23, 2019 Author Posted September 23, 2019 TCM is running his films at this moment. "A Slight Case of Larceny" is on right now.

Ace-Garageguy Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 (edited) I always kinda liked Rooney. Good actor. But I wonder what he had that made him so attractive to the babes? Edited September 24, 2019 by Ace-Garageguy
