Seann Anderson Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 That's sexy. I loved that series of Camel/Winston cars.
martinfan5 Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Underrated paint scheme for the 90's , cool.
TarheelRick Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Thanks for sharing this build. That car was built less than a mile from my house. From my understanding of the story, Junior Johnson helped Travis Carter build a race shop and also provided the equipment and parts for the cars. I think Junior used this team as a test bed for some of his ideas. Anyway, there was one of the older cars up on a pole in front of the shop. Many of the locals claimed that was the only pole Jimmy Spencer would ever claim. Had a chance to meet Jimmy many years later at the North/South Shootout at Concord Speedway. 1
Sledsel Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 Great looking build of one of my favorite cars
Fairfax Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 I'm starting to get a taste of these more modern cars, too. :-) Very nice work !
dragmodels44 Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Beautiful job! Here’s a smokin’ Joe’s / camel powered car in a cup that I found years ago.
Gary Davis Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 Love that paint scheme. That's a very good build of one of my Favorite drivers....specially in the Modified series...
James2 Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Always liked Jimmy and that's a great model. Nice build! And the story about the pole may be true bout the best hit he ever made was when he punched Kurt Bush. Very entertaining driver...
