Southern Fried Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Maybe AMT '55 Nomad "bed/ roof / tailgate parts"...with latest AMT '57 Bel Air......?
OldNYJim Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Do I have to? ?? That rear view isn’t bad, but it’s kind of a mish-mash in that first pic, for me. Looks skilfully done though, I’ll give them that!
BDSchindler Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 (edited) reminds me of the fantasy 57 Chevy El Camino that Rick Hanmore did when he was with Danbury Mint... Edited November 24, 2019 by BDSchindler
Bills72sj Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I actually saw a 1:1 of a 57 El Camino in primer like 30+ years ago. The concept blew me away back then. The roofline on that one was close to the Diecast shown above.

Expand Great idea, I just hope no real '57 Nomads were injured here. The rear portion of the roof, rear window and the bed all look much like a '64 thru '67 El Camino. The tail gate sure looks like a '57 Nomad. Either way this could be a fun build in 1/24th.
