ChrisR Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Awesome, but it needs dent on the hood and a door mirror ?

It has the dent, but you just can't see it in the pic above. Here you go: I'm still looking for the mirrors. They're not truck mirrors (even though they came with the truck), they're like Mustang mirrors or Fairlane mirrors or something. So I can't use what came with the kit.
ChrisR Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 (edited) Awesome!! Edited January 15, 2020 by ChrisR
Cpt Tuttle Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 You really captured the worn look very well.
wrenchr Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I might have those mirrors. If I do they are yours.
mk11 Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Great weathering! An outfit called rookieresin has come out with a much more accurate grill for these. Worth a look.
Michael Bloes Posted January 28, 2020 Author Posted January 28, 2020 (edited) Thanks, I just checked that out - they were the LAST products listed. Nice though. I bought a whole kit just to get my grill. Edited January 28, 2020 by Michael Bloes
wrenchr Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 (edited) I have 3, but they are round. Might be able to modify them? Id just mount them like they are. Close enough. I have been sorting / organizing my stuff and I have 3 large nut and bolt bin orgnizers and are sorting parts into those. I'm trying to sort parts by type. I had a lot of parts boxes with mixed stuff and I have no idea what I have. I just had my hands on these yesterday. It is working. Edited January 28, 2020 by wrenchr
Michael Bloes Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 Thanks, Jason but it's ok - I'm gonna keep looking for something closer. If I get ambitious I might even just scratchbuild a pair.
stavanzer Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Great Job, on shrinking down your truck. It looks like many I still see on the road.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 You really captured the look of the original! Great work! Great weathering!!
Michael Bloes Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Wow, a second round of comments! You guys just won't let this one sink to page 2. Thanks again.
