Can you take a little off the top edge of the interior, or maybe file it on a slight bevel to fit more inside the glass?

I'm thinking I'd like to get another of these to do a modern version of the one from that autobiography tv show with the funny story and fake sponsors. Now I've built the tamiya part once I wont be so worried about cutting it up to get it low either

That might work, and less likely to show since its hidden by the pillars. Easy touch up too on an all black interior. Going to try that now, thanks guys

The back is sitting lower now, I had to remove the exhaust tips so they didn't get lost and it dropped enough to keep me fairly happy without cutting anything.

When you do yours, fit the front glass after the the other glass, it wont stay in if done first due to how good the fit is
