A lot of cool photo of other stuff in the lakes around there. I found it very interesting. Thank you Chris.
ChrisBcritter Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 There are some cars and their owners still unaccounted for. In Chicago the case of Edward and Sophia (sometimes recorded as "Stephania") Andrews is still on the books; on May 15, 1970, they drove out of the Sheraton-Chicago Hotel onto Michigan Avenue, in the wrong direction - and that was the last anyone saw of them, or their black-over-yellow 1969 Olds 442. I recreated the license plate from the report: And more recently, I picked up some builtups from eBay, which included... a black-over-yellow '69 442 : Best guess is that they may have driven into the Chicago River off Lower Wacker Drive while trying to make a U-turn, but nothing has ever turned up.
Scott8950 Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 (edited) Bugatti found in lake with a good story. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thevintagenews.com/2016/11/03/this-bugatti-that-lay-at-the-bottom-of-a-lake-for-73-years-then-recovered/amp/ Edited April 7, 2020 by Scott8950

Up here in Wisconsin the guys will drive out on the ice and park their car or truck next to their shanty while fishing! No way would I ever!! I won’t even walk out on it and I don’t care if the ice is a mile deep. No way!!!!

Someone should have saw them drive into the river but you never know..
