Brudda Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Well it’s finished. Our Silver Springs Club Build. Anything Monogram. It is not perfect by far. First NASCAR model I have finished. This is supposed to be Dale Jarrett, Robert Yates car. I guess it was Davy, Ernie , then Dale. Out of box. The rules are no after market parts. You can use aftermarket decals as most of these kits are old and the decals are bad. The next one , I will try to be better. The object of the club build is to keep cost low and the build simple.
MarkJ Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 Great job , Bruce. You definitely got your 5 bucks out of that model. Excellent paint job and overall build. And for your first Nascar build you hit it out of the park.
Jim N Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Great job! I will echo Marks's comment that is an outstanding build for your first NASCAR.

Brudda Posted May 24, 2020 Author Posted May 24, 2020 Yes Yellowsportwagon, swap meets at IPMS contests are a great way to get good deals. NNL events are also a great way to get deals
