I thought I was slacking, but nope, just doing other things. I have been slowly getting the tub where I need to. There is a lot of stuff that goes into it. The directions ask you to attach the tub to the rear engine cage. I decided not to, I don’t want to over handle everything and have something tragic happen.
building the front frame took a wile to do, I am glad I used the tub as a jig, If I was gonna try without it, it would take forever.

Hopefully I will get the tub painted and also the front frame soon.

thanks for looking

Chris

So this is a small update. I forget how much you need to be three steps ahead to make sure everything fits as it’s supposed to.

I got the tub drilled and painted, the front frame painted, fire extinguisher finished. Peddle assembly constructed and painted.

trying to figure out the right color to paint the brake reservoirs, still need to build shocks and get the radiator together.

 Thanks for looking

I got the radiator installed. Decided not to use the supplied fittings and lines. I used some RB Motion fittings and some Pro Tech steel braided lines, for realism.
I also decided not to paint the shocks. Just look at them, hiding them behind paint just seems wrong.

the upper A frames where a pain to line up, but I got them.

Thanks for looking

The whole front end / foot well are nicely done Chris.  That's a lot of stuff to cram in there.  Keep up the good work.   cheers, tim

Amazing work on the Porsche! Really a work of art. The MFH kits are awesome but I have to say that seeing the work and attention it takes to build one, kind of makes me glad I can't afford a MFH kit :)

Hey Chris. This is all I have done on my Porsche. Part of the engine and tires and wheels. Tubes make me nervous. What’s the name of that therapist?

Boy Chris, everything is going into place! Very nice job on a very , very hard kit. The frame is fantastic. The frame is very hard to work with. And your engine is fantastic. I hope I can wire my engine like yours. Beautiful job!
