So, it might not be pretty, but it's done.  And it looks like a Thunderbolt.  The fit was pretty bad, and the decals gave me a lot of trouble, but the kit is from 1997 so what can you really expect.  I'm happy with the results, and I think it'll look ok on the shelf.

Thanks, Don.  Yes, the wingspan is about 3-1/2" (88.9mm), and the fuselage is about 3" (76.2mm).

1/144 is about as small as it gets before you start getting into 1/350 aircraft on ship models. These tiny kits are tough.....really tough and I've gotta give you kudos for finishing this one off. Good work James.

Thanks, Joe.  Done a couple of 1/144 scale fighters, and yes, they are small.  But the plus side of that is they don't that up all that much shelf space.
