This is new to me, been to a couple of web sites, Autoworld, FreeTime Hobbies, and did a search for BMF and or Bare Metal Foil, NO Results..Is this stuff got a different name or something, just can not believe AW has no listing.. Thanks Also, can anyone recommend a good online source for modeling supplies?

If you want the best BMF, buy it directly.  Just go to bare-metal.com and place your order. I won't buy foil any other way.

I work near the building that makes that stuff..... It's located on 8-mile Rd. in Livonia or Farmington hills Michigan.... I just don't know the address..... ???

Plowboy is right. Buy direct from them because it is "fresh". No telling how long someone has had it. I bought some at hobby shop at it was junk. It just does sorta wrinkles up after a time.

While I agree that getting it directly from the source is probably the safest, it doesn't guarantee a good sheet.

Age and mishandling may cause cracking, but a pebbly texture, wrinkling and often insufficient adhesive comes right from the factory.

The last sheet that I purchased had this going on in a couple of places.

This is a factory defect.

Doesn't much matter where it was bought.
