Plastic_Passion
We've all seen beautiful works of art. We've followed builds. We've seen enginuity<-sp? ?♂️ anyways we've seen some incredible builds. Both along the way and finished in all their glory. But.... what about those builds that you had such great plans for? And then something tragic happens. And your kit takes a very drastic turn.... let's see some "you're not alone" accidents. I'll start with this 300zx I planned on some p.e. parts on. It was my 2nd non revell/amt kit. And my wife stepped on it on accident. She felt so bad she cried. Which made me feel bad that she felt so bad lol. These things happen! I told her it was my fault not hers. Modlbldr
Nice rebuild so far. Got to wonder though, why was it low enough for her to step on? Lol. Here is one I received from a friend of mine. While it was in progress someone maliciously destroyed it. He didn't have the heart to rebuild it so I took it on. After I pieced most everything back together I got stalled on it. I need to get back on it. Later-

Which after being together for 10 years, if she wants me to hangout with her still I must be doing something pretty okay. So I dont complain. So in order to build and share a space, I built on a sheet of foam board. Which actually worked out great for 2 years. Then it happened. ?♂️ oops. That super sucks that someone would maliciously do that. Seems uncalled for. I dig the little motorbikes! Almost reminds me of my 1:1 ninja. Tom Geiger
Since I have a reputation for repairing the unrepairable old customs, a friend dropped this one on me in a paper lunch sack. It was all in pieces and the body was broken in two. Here it is after some repair and assembly to see what I actually had... And here she is all repaired! Couldn’t dunk it since it had a lot of ancient and questionable putty. So I had to work with the body patiently and sand out the previous paint jobs so they’d sit under primer. Tom Geiger
I found this one in an dealers junk box at a show. No suspension, no roof.. just a mess. The dealer was almost embarrassed and told me to take it for free because he forgot to throw it out! I took that as a challenge! Here she is looking better than she ever did! I couldn’t take it apart so I restored around it. New suspension and wheels / tires. I touched up the green paint and then gave it a clear coat because the decals were disintegrating. I installed a new roof and glass from parts kit that gave up its suspension ( the rest of that body went to a guy who wanted wheel wells and another who needed doors!) I painted roof gold since I knew I’d never match the green. I made the roof decal on my printer from an online scan of the original decal sheet. It was fun to restore it because it was an original issue, it was interesting and how close it came to the garbage can!

I talked to my buddy and he said that he thinks they were Heller 1/24 bikes. He said that he modified the forks and front suspensions. He said there was another company that sold 1/24 superbikes but he can't remember who. Later-
