Another gluebomb a buddy dropped off. There is nothing better than free models no matter what they look like especially if they are muscle cars!

There was a bunch of stuff missing and the glass is painted. Yes, the moth came with the car. It died right there in the passenger seat.

Stay tuned...

The moth should have been wearing his seat belt. Looks like an interesting project. I'm wondering about the orange colored suspension  and exhaust. Were these parts panted or from maybe a Camaro kit issued in orange ?

The pipes are similar. But if they are Camaro pipes. They didn't come from the Revell kit.

There's your paint color scheme..

Yah, if the paint's in good shape, I'd be tempted to just Snake-Fu it and put it on the shelf. I've worked with worse, I tell you. Drive on! B)

The reason I was thinking that they may of come from a different Camaro kit is that Revell has offered so many different versions of their '69 Camaro it can be hard to tell. The kit has been offered at different times as a Z-28 and many different versions of big block engines. The blue exhaust in your picture was an optional factory exhaust that Chevrolet offered, I think they called it a Chambered Exhaust System. For kit building these would be very desirable, in 1:1 applications they were just short of straight pipes and were pretty much illegal everywhere. Anyway that was just my thought on these parts.

Those chambered exhaust pipes and solid .030"-.030" lifter camshafts make some sweet music..... Even better with a solid cam in a big block.... ?

As it turns out, the guy down the street is building a 69 drag Nova and was going to give me a set of turbos he no longer needs. I may have to surprise him with a little gift.
