Gramps46 Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 (edited) I am trying to get some momentum going on posting your Le Mans racers, here is another Le Mans winning Porsche. Ref. Wiki: The 911 GT1-98, despite being slower than the Toyota or the Mercedes in 1998, fulfilled Porsche's slim hopes, taking both first and second place overall thanks to reliability, giving Porsche its record-breaking 16th overall win at Le Mans, more than any other manufacturer in history. The model is a curbside Modelers 1/24 kit and another decal challenge with all those swirls. Edited August 1, 2020 by Gramps46
Rich Chernosky Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Great looking model Gary, luv the photography, nice backgrounds.
afx Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 The '98 evolution was one curvy sexy beast! Nice work Gary.
tmathew1us Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Very cool! I wish Tamiya would have kitted this as well or instead of their Porsche GT 1 (which is a better looking car, but not a Le Mans winner). Great work on a rare model.
randyc Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 I think I built the Tamiya clear body version GT1 and the two revell versions back in the day? I don;t remember what they were and they are sold off now.
