Protar kit, pretty low parts count but it went together well.  Decals were old but Micro Superfilm made them usable.  According to Wikipedia this car was revolutionary in 1982, utilizing ground effects bodywork on the underside.  Comments welcome, thanks for looking.

I have this and the Tamiya in my stash and was eyeballing them a few days ago.

It came out nice and I expect now that I've seen one done I'll just work on something else as my curiosity has now been sated.

Shame about the real car though. Not terribly successful.

WOW Beautifully built model. I am a Villeneuve fan having seen him race Formula Atlantic at Westwood near Vancouver and F1 at  Spanish GP 1979. He would have been World Champion in 1982 if he had lived

I would love to do a large scale version but I just don't have the room.  I've been concentrating on 1/24 because I really don't have room for 1/20 either.
