bbowser Posted September 14, 2020 Posted September 14, 2020 (edited) Protar kit, pretty low parts count but it went together well. Decals were old but Micro Superfilm made them usable. According to Wikipedia this car was revolutionary in 1982, utilizing ground effects bodywork on the underside. Comments welcome, thanks for looking. Edited September 15, 2020 by bbowser spelling
Dragline Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 I have this and the Tamiya in my stash and was eyeballing them a few days ago. It came out nice and I expect now that I've seen one done I'll just work on something else as my curiosity has now been sated. Shame about the real car though. Not terribly successful.
Phildaupho Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 WOW Beautifully built model. I am a Villeneuve fan having seen him race Formula Atlantic at Westwood near Vancouver and F1 at Spanish GP 1979. He would have been World Champion in 1982 if he had lived
Rich Chernosky Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Bruce...Protar kits are no walk in the park but you did a great job. If you want a real challenge Protar makes a 1/12 version of this car. I have both done.
bbowser Posted September 15, 2020 Author Posted September 15, 2020 I would love to do a large scale version but I just don't have the room. I've been concentrating on 1/24 because I really don't have room for 1/20 either.
Belugawrx Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 !!!GILLES!!!! Nice work on the 126 Bruce
