Snake45 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Great fixer-upper on eBay right now, "buy it now" price. https://www.ebay.com/i/254668697529?campaign-id=90001&run-date=20200928081000&templateId=c9bb7c1b-7d13-47db-a41b-43e64b1b36cc&templateVersion=484&co=23&placement-type=mfe.rt1&user-id=43198857264&instance=1601305800&site-id=0&trackingCode=TE79001_T_AGM_CT2&placement-type-name=mfe.rt1&mfe-Id=101243 Pretty good history of the semi-famous "Colt .45" Fiat/Mustang Altered/Funny, and some good detail pics of the vintage chassis. Interesting stuff!
Deuces ll Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I ummm... Already have 3 Mustangs....???
iamsuperdan Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 That chassis doesn't look strong enough to handle the power of a race engine. Engineering sure was different back in the day!
Snake45 Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Reading the verbal description, I was reminded of the old story of "George Washington's hatchet." If the head has been replaced three times and the handle replaced four times, is it still "George Washington's hatchet" at all? Doesn't sound like there's much if anything of the original "Colt .45" Mustang altered/funny left except the name. But the history is interesting anyway.
BuilderX Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Naaah.....But I would be interested in the 65 Chevy Tk in the back ground ?
