I used a mix of 50% water and %50 dollar store degreaser in a ultrasonic cleaner for about 15 minuets.I supose just a good overnite soaking of degreaser followed by a clear water rinse should do the trick

I have had a lot of his bodies and here is how I treat them. Not saying this is the only way. I soak them in Purple Power ( You can buy on line ) for 24 hours after I trim them of all the over mold. I then wash in Dawn and when dry do a light sanding before spraying Duplicolor filler primer. This works for me but I am sure not the only way to go about cleaning the body. Others will come along with other methods most likely.

That's what I do as well.

I clean all of the resin bodies and parts I work with now using Dawn dish soap. I had a resin body turn to mush on me using Purple Power. In fairness the body was not from  Jimmy Flintstone so I'm thinking a different resin compound must have been used as I have enjoyed a couple of his resin bodies before without issues. I fill a sink, any container that will hold water should work, and add the Dawn dish soap with the water at room temperature and allow the body to soak for a good 15 minuets. This may be longer than needed but it works for me. I will swish the body around in the dish water after that time and then rinse with cold water. I use an air brush to dry but again that would be optional. After this you will feel the difference to the touch after cleaning and the Dawn seems to get into all of the crevices and leaves no residue.

Another tip that was suggested to me , was wash the parts in Dawn dishsoap . Then use something like Ajax powder or comet and make a fine paste and lightly scrub body . This seems to help the stubborn mold release on some parts . Rinse well and air dry . Prime w a good automotive primer , not the tamiya stuff first for better adhesion

Also before you paint see if tape will stick to the body. If it does, your good to go. If not, don't paint yet. Always was a good indicator for me.
