South Beach Classics,Ted Vernon?

Anybody remember the show South Beach Classics with Ted Vernon,and his classic car business?His wife Robin Ziel worked there as well.I wondered what happened to the show.Then I Found this on the web.This is what Ted Vernon did to his wife Robin.She claims she dealt with Ted’s abusive behavior for years.They were married for 15 years.Yea it takes a real tough man to beat up a woman.IDK if he did any jail time.Sorry if I wasn’t allowed to post this.

 I see him often at the larger shows here. I've never watched his show- he's arrogant & cocky in real life, not much fun to be around.

Yup,exactly.I mean look what he did to his own wife.Yea real tough guy.

I watched his show a few times, hard to watch based on his personality, he's really full of himself. If this is how he has been treating his wife she should have left him long ago. A battered woman's life isn't easy to say the least but sometimes you just have to get away somehow.  This is one time I would like to see her "clean his clock" in Divorce Court. Leave him with nothing but that ugly thing growing on his face.

Lol,yea I don’t know who he thinks he is...I also read that he was at one time,he was an amateur boxer.That poor woman,who by the way,was almost half his age.I remember watching some episodes,but like you,I couldn’t watch it too often, because of his “brash” personality.And IMO,she seemed to work the hardest to keep the business in order.I just couldn’t believe the pictures when I saw them.I Dont know when they were taken...There are three absolute no no’s in this life.1.Messing(or touching another mans car),2,beating on a women,and 3,never eat another mans French fries,lol?.Just kidding..No but seriously though,you do not hit a woman,even if sometimes you think she deserves it.And if you do,your nothing but a lowly coward in my book, that simple..I really hope she got the help she needed.Its a long road to recovery, especially if it’s been going on for years...

I agree with you about hitting a woman. I have known a couple of "Ladies" that if they were a man they would be beaten  within an inch of their miserable life and anyone who know all of the circumstances would agree. As a pro-boxer at any level his fists might be considered a deadly weapon in a court of law, we can hope. As mentioned before old Ted really had a "holier than thou" attitude toward everyone else. I also agree that she will need help, and I hope she gets it, toward recovering to any sense of a normal life.

Yea so Ted Vernon really was a cockyMy**** don’t stink.His wife must of filed charges.To any administrator,sorry if we shouldn’t talk about this couple.U can stop the post.It just pisses me off when I see a man beat a poor woman that bad,yea real tough guy.???.And they got a son.Yea that kid is gonna be fine,....No he probably won’t.Sorry

They are Divorced.. He voilated his terms of probation. Some guns were found at the dealership rolled up in a carpet, and so he has a six month prison term! Robin Divorced him in 2017
