Irvin Arter Jr. Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I know you guy's think I fell off the end of the earth. I am actually working on a model car Everybody else has been building Nova's so I want to join in Look I forgot to put the font lug nuts on the front wheel! using some of the photoetch also I put aluminum heads on my LT-1 enjoy!
Modellpularn Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Looks like a killer, Irv! And it's red.... I like it!
GOTH KUSTOMS Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 That is just bad, dig the stance, the kolor just work's perfect, really nice build, thankx for the show....
Guest JamesDE Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 That looks awesome. Great color choice.
RodneyBad Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Another great looking Nova. Don't worry about the lug nuts, Drive it right and the front wheels won't hit the ground
stump Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 That's a fantastic start Irv. Love it.. Looks great in red too....may need to do one of mine in red. Did you do much to get those tyres under the tail ? Looks wicked at that height. cheers Greg
MojaveRacer208 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Love it Irv. I may be a Ford guy but my older brother had a serious 68 Nova with a small block back in the day. A friend has a few Novas of that generation now, from 69 to 74. One is a drag car. I love the look of yours. The stance, as is usual for your work, is great!
cruz Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Very cool Irv!!! Just like all your other stuff!!! By the way, congratulations on your wins at the LIARS show, even though you weren't there, I took the liberty of taking the plaques home!!! What I really wanted was your modelss but there was a big guy protecting them, I didn't want to mess with him!!!
peter31a Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 You know until I saw this work in progress I could have cared less about the new nova kit. But I really like the look of this build Irv. And it has that certain rake to it.... Peter

I think it will fit once I move the leaf springs in (I hope) HaHa thanks!
Andy Wyatt Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Looks sharp Irv! Actually painted one today...I don't even like Chevys all that much but there are four of them on my bench right now! LOL!

I got my big M/T's under mine, tho it's not quite as low....been looking at dropping my next one a tad more. Will look at moving the spring mounting points. Look forward to see more mate. cheers Greg
