misterNNL Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 I bought some Faller CA glue a while back because of the dispenser has a hypodermic needle type delivery tube. I have tried my go-to kicker (Instaset )and it doesn't work. Can anyone suggest a brand that will work?
peteski Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Kickers (CA accelerators) should be universal and work on any Cyanoacrylate glues. Are you sure that the Faller glue is CA and not regular plastic cement? Smell it. Both plastic cement and CA have very distinctive and different smells. Another clue is the hypo-needle applicator. Those are not used on CA glues because they would clog really fast. I had a container of Faller glue (bought it for model RR building kits) an it was just a plastic cement.
