Hermann Kersten Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone, Today another Hilux, it's from the Aoshima monster truck kit, but monster trucks are not really my cup of tea. Despite that, I still bought the kit, and head with other plans. This time I had to change and modify quite a bit, to turn this monster truck into an ordinary work truck. The ride hight is lowered, the inner wheel arches are closed, because they were completely open, use some normal rims and tires from a Toyota Hiace kit, a radio antenna, some seatbelts and clips and a self made protective rack on the head of the loading bed. Together with a figure from Zoomon and a dog from Hobby Design, I made some pictures. Have fun watching. Hermann. Edited November 5, 2020 by Hermann Kersten
Bainford Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Nice work. It looks good converted back to a regular work-a-day truck.
mikemodeler Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Looks great, nice job on the conversion and nice to see something like you see on the road!
espo Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I like the more normal look of your build. Great looking paint finish and a commonly seen color. Nice chassis detail and the dog and their person looks very natural.
Hermann Kersten Posted November 7, 2020 Author Posted November 7, 2020 Thank you for the nice comments, compliments and liking this "common" Toyota guys!? Hermann.
