Most durable chrome painting option(s)?

Have you tried clearing it? Also, do you have any pictures of anything you've painted with this for reference?

Large tire is alcad silver candy base.  Small tire is alcad chrome.

That silver candy base looks really great!

Thanks for the photo.  Silver Candy base makes a great polished aluminum finish, but not quite "chrome" to me.  At least I know how it looks like and compares to chrome.
