Howard Cohen Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Next into the bath is this overly painted 1961 Ford pickup, fair condition, complete, no body cracks but possible a custom hood...
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 The hood is stock, but had the "custom" holes opened on the top. These were a fairly common feature on some of AMT's annual kits during this period. The holes on the side of the hood were where the "hood spears"/emblems mounted. Steve
dragcarz Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Great project, love these old screw bottom kits!
Howard Cohen Posted January 16, 2021 Author Posted January 16, 2021 Out of the bath, still needs some cleaning, even the trailer is good
wrenchr Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 Looking good!! I have one and the oil cans and tool box were glued to the bed floor with what appears to be a tube of glue. I'm going to have to improvise something for my bed floor.
