steveracer Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Nice to see this kit in a buildup! I almost bought this on Saturday.....may be time to head back to the store and pick it up. Keep up with the cool little details! And I love the background, I wasn't sure if that was real or a diorama at first! Seriously! Model on Ken.

Chariots of Fire Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Hey, Ken. What did you use for the hood hinge? Love the color combination!
gotnitro? Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Very nice ive been following the progress on fb too Really like the red bumper/ grill guard treatment
steveracer Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Ken, can you point to a link that details your shop diarama? I love the way it looks, and would like to get ahold of some of those details for myself!
Bronzekeg Posted February 11, 2021 Author Posted February 11, 2021 thanks guys for all the kind words. Charles the piano hinges are rc airplane from dreamworks model products. Steve the back ground was scratch built using cardboard, paper and wood. I got the hood assembly put together and put in place. horns and more lights are all that is left to do before starting on the dump bed.
Mopar - D Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Ken your hood looks great. Do you have any pictures with the hood open?
Bronzekeg Posted February 11, 2021 Author Posted February 11, 2021 thanks guys. Dan I'll take some and post.
