Group 5 Pantera 1978

I have had this strange looking Pantera kit (no box) for maybe over 35 years and I thought it was pretty odd and I searched online and found what looks like it is supposed to resemble these pictures.  So now the questions is where would I find decals for it?  The kit may have also been issued under other Japanese brands. I emailed Lemans Decals (the guy in Spain) snikeforce1 on Ebay to see if he can make them.  I will post when I hear back from him.

I have the kit on the bottom right of the Scalemates picture but of course the decals for the other version look spot on assuming they are in that kit which I assume they are per the instructions I see from the multiple listings on Ebay for over $300 and not one picture shows the actual decal sheet.  Maybe I should just sell the kit I have.  ?

most of the pattern markings could be masked and painted and you could scrounge up some dry transfers for the white lettering ...

Panteras are cool and race cars are cool, but I must say that is not the prettiest Pantera. Nonetheless, interesting subject and interesting kit. I think it needs to be built.

Yes there are a lot of racing versions to do but not that many to do with this particular body that I am surprised was even kitted.  No luck with snikeforce1 on doing decals so back to the drawing board.  The GT4 and GT5 race categories allowed what seems to be almost unlimited body modifications.  I’ll keep this kit as it seems to be pretty unusual and was not part of the wave of Fujumi reboxed kits.  The Gulf liberty picture is not based on a particular car but it sure looks cool.
