It's hit or miss with our animal companions. I never would've imagined that Tao would take to Emily the way he did, and in the manner in which he did ! He fell for her immediately ; she took to him with no hesitancy .

They're getting on just the way I'd hoped they would .

Dug out this old snap shot of a cat that my wife brought home shortly after we got married.... Very sweet boy named Pepper.  He loved to get between the wife and I whenever we were snuggling on the couch.   

The day I shot this photo, I had gotten up to grab myself a beer, and when I came back he had made himself very comfortable next to my wife.... I hadn't opened the beer yet, so I set it next to him, figuring that the cold bottle would annoy him and he'd get up and leave.... Instead, he wrapped his paws around it, with a most content look on his face. So cute that I just had to grab my camera and take a picture. ?

OH WOW!!!!  Spent two hours this afternoon going thru all 32 pages, just looking at pictures of all the cuties......  GREAT to see how many people we have here that know "what's most important"!!!!!

I used to have a Tee-shirt that read   "Little animals are EASY to love,  people= not so much!!!!"     Lotta truth in that!!!!

All 3 cats hanging out with my girlfriend the other night. The black cat belongs to her daughter. He thinks that the girl cats are his harem.

They are so curious. My Ivan checks out anything that comes in the door. Pocketbooks, groceries, packages of any type.

The lovebug in the front here reminds me of a chaton my family had back in 1986. That dab of orange on the "scarab" part of the head ; the kitten we had was a "salt & pepper" tabby with a postage stamp sized orange on her "scarab". My little sister called her "Copper" (he identical sister was called "Blackfoot"). 

Lovely feline company there !

That black one reminds me of the one we had when I was in high school. My mom got him from a friend 2 doors down and I named him Spook. He was great. We'd stalk each other around the house and he'd sleep with me at night. Always remember being at the vet and I'd just have him sitting in my lap in the waiting area. People were amazed I could do that with a cat.

The little calico named Brie was sleeping like this. The black one. Mr. Beers was just chilling. He has sleek shiny fur. All 3 get along well.
