Zippi Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 (edited) Hobby Lobby had 40% off so I bought 3 kits today. I saved $26.51 so one kit was FREE. I have been watching their website for certain kits but they are always "Out Of Stock". When I got there this morning I found that 3 of the 4 that were "Out Of Stock" on the website were setting on the shelf. The only one they didn't have was the 1956 Ford Foose pickup. I wanted another one as the running gear was so nice and might be able to use it on another Revell kit. Now I just need to decide on which one to start on first. If you have built one of these kits before I'd like to hear your comments on the quality, fitment of parts, and finished product pic. Edited April 9, 2021 by Zippi
bisc63 Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 Solid choices! Search this forum and you should find many builds of each. Start a build thread, and you'll get plenty of feedback as you progress.
Zippi Posted April 10, 2021 Author Posted April 10, 2021 Thanks for the info. I'm starting on the 67 Chevelle.
David G. Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 I haven't built any of those but I've had my eye on the Chevy truck for a while now. If you plan on posting a WIP for the Chevelle, I'll certainly follow along. David G.
Zippi Posted April 10, 2021 Author Posted April 10, 2021 Thanks fellow. I just opened the box of the 1967 Chevelle yesterday trying to figure out what color I want to go with. As a new comer back to the game I like the local availability of the acrylic paints at Hobby Lobby, price, and the way it sprays. I just need to figure out what to airbrush over it to get a good slick and shiny finish.
