cheyenne93 Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Has anyone out there ever grooved tires? Want to take a set of the solid rubber nascar tires and square block them into dirt tires. Anybody have any thoughts or input on doing this?
Fat Brian Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 You might could save yourself some work by tracking down some of the tires from the Revell/Monogram sprint car kits.
cheyenne93 Posted April 19, 2021 Author Posted April 19, 2021 I have some sprint car tires. They are a little to big for the stance I'm going for. But thanks for the input.
NOBLNG Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 (edited) I’ve never tried it, but maybe a cuticle trimmer would work? Edited April 19, 2021 by NOBLNG
Bob Warfield Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 I haven't done it for years but I used to use a hack saw blade, a hobby saw, or sometimes a Dremel tool with a saw blade in it. Takes patience though.
