Hats off to your efforts here, these look great! I built the AMT rebox of this kit, so I know all too well how much work you had to put in to get them to look as nice as they do. I went with wheels from a Danbury Mint diecast, bumpers from Italeri's 250GT California, and a black paint job that hid some of the body flaws I couldn't/didn't correct.

Thanks Bill, I will replace the foiled bumpers of the yellow version with parts from the Italeri kit (built as a racer, this will nood no bumpers)

Beautiful work Helmut, you made that old Esci kit look very nice. I've got several of these kits, both Esci and Italeri in my stash.

Btw. I'm currently working on Fujimis 250 GTO, that's a very nice kit!

Thanks, Anders, I tried to look them a little better - at the moment, I have 56 unbuilt Ferrari kits in my stash, among them from Italeri 4 x 250 SWB, 3 x 250 California spider, 2 x 250 GTO and from Fujimi, Gunze and Revell (Protar reissue) each 1 GTO - some will be used as donor kits for the following transkits: 250 GT Breadvan, 250 GT sperimentale, 330 LMB and 1964 250 GTO...  I think I woll sell off the newer ones and stay focused on the classics.

Very cleanly built and these look superb Helmut. Top notch work!

Thank you, Joe. But top notch work seems a little exaggerated - these are almost 40 years old (I certainly could do better now)
