Justin Porter Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 All wrapped up! Here's the finished build of my Tamiya 1/20th scale 1979 Ligier JS11. It was built box stock except for the addition of decals from Indycals to replace the totally shot Tamiya kit decals. As just a fun detour of a build I am pretty pleased with the results.
Gramps46 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Very good looking Ligier. And a Jacky Ickx ride too! Is that a hobby shop where the photos were taken?

Rich Chernosky Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Justin...that turned out great. Does your hobby shop have a display area where customers can enjoy you work too.

One of the display cases by the register has space occupied by models by myself, my Dad, and our customers.

My local hobby shop (owned by a fellow business associate) also has one. It has a rotating table we affectionatly call the "spinner". There is also an anonymous comment box. There is competition to get models on the spinner and encourages others to build. Great idea...thanks for sharing.
papajohn97 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Beautiful job Justin on this older Tamiya F1 kit. I’m particularly impressed with your decaling, those long narrow ones are really challenging to apply and align without tearing/ damaging them. Nice!
