Well, I don't think Tamiya would add a Polish plate decal to the set. That's why a guessed you made them yourself. The picture of an old car on the plate ; is it for old-timers in Poland ?

Exactly, In Poland, to get the yellow plates, a car must be at least 25 years old, and 15 years must pass from the end of its production.
Tom Geiger Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Great model! My father was US Army and we lived in Germany from 1969-72. We had a red Beetle like this one, a US export car. Someone hit the back bumper so my dad had to replace it with the narrow Euro bumper. That’s how I’ll always remember it and someday build a model

Ok, in Belgium cars or motorbikes have to be 30 years old. License plates for old-timers have an 'O' as first character. You pay lower taxes, but the use of your car is limited ; not for commercial purpose or driving to the office. Looking forward to your next realisations.
Tiger89 Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Outstanding! I have built two of these, fun kits, but I had problems with the trunk (not engine cover) hinges breaking on both of them.

I know the problem, the plastic is poorly constructed and if it is badly glued, it can crack.
Zippi Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Nice clean little bug. I like how you used a permanent marker for the fender welting.
