alan barton Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Stance - that says it all. The combination of a very low body and very tall tyres just works so well to create the feel that you were after. This must look fabulous amongst all you other rods. I feel your pain in the desire to achieve a clean build. I start every model with the intent of it being a clean build, and yet often things conspire to defeat me. I'm not one of those guys who will make a part ten times until it is perfect - that is just not me. I will give it my best shot the first time. And I find stripping and restarting body work seldom gives as good a result as you had to start with. As hot rod modellers, we do a LOT of cutting and joining and we are forever fitting ten pounds of potatoes in a five pound bag so we will just keep trying, chasing the dream. Doesn't make me like your stuff any less! Cheers Alan

Doesn't make me like your stuff any less! Cheers Alan Thanks so much Alan. I really should reconcile myself to being, as you say, a hot rod modeler. Of late I've been trying to emphasize the style aspect. But my love of anything fast and well engineered exposes me to all those immaculate race car builds, let alone the "grass is greener on the other side" temptation of factory stock replica. Chasing the dream, indeed!
Claude Thibodeau Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 HI! Great styling. Suddently, it's... 1961! Bravo! CT
