Decided to buckle down and try to get some more work done on the cabriolet. I’ll be using all the stock suspension components from any of the revell 32 series kits. I’ll also use the Chrysler 392 hemi with some nice add ones from R&M of Maryland to spruce up the bare bones engine. Front wheels are from the 37 Ford pickup and the rears are from the monogram Lincoln. I’ll find some dress up caps in the wheel bin and spruce up the wheels later.

Mr. Zappa decided to try out the cockpit.

Houston we have…

Colour!!

The finish line is coming, just trying to decide on a colour for the roadster pickup and finish the bodywork on the delivery van. The station wagon will be a surprise at the finish line.

Please keep in mind the paint is raw and no finish work has been done yet.

Ive been kind of thinking about doing the same thing to break out of my mental issues with building lately. I currently have a 3 window and a 5 window mocked up on my display cabinet...I have a bunch more I can mock up too

All those nice glossy paint jobs, and not one with patinaB)

That’s something I haven’t mastered, it is on my list of learning this winter. I have a plethora of rebuilder bodies to practice on.

This is an in progress attempt.

Not bad, that is a good foundation , just keep going. You really can not mess up when doing patina.

Once I finish the 15 I’ll make an attempt at one

That chopped 5 window is wickedly kool. Ask your wife for old makeup- useful for weathering.

Thank you Paul, but alas no wife, i'm a happy bachelor. The five window is slated for its time on the bench using the 29 roadster kit.

Well an end of the year update! Work still continues on the parking lot. The two slump busters have worked their magic and I’ll be back on these next year (last dad joke of the year)

Well holy moly I can’t believe I finished 12 of the 15!  I made a post in the under glass section for those that may want to view them.
Last three are in the works as you read this.
Currently working on the station wagon

BIL! QUIT HOGGING THE '32 KITS!  ? deuces are the best, though, huh?  I'm eager to see what you build. Get busy!

I’m sorry Jim, but no I don’t think I’ll stop hogging them today . ? yes these are my favourite kits to mess with and now with a new mold coming out I’m even more excited to add to the stash haha. I have some fresh ideas for future builds.

Reissue of the rat roaster but it has been un-rat roastered. There is a 7 page thread here

Yup. I got it. I was just about to edit. I looked at the "new kits" thread. I knew about that and ....well....senior moment. Thanks Bil. The windshield is a big plus. I'm thinking "early lakes highboy" survivor with a smattering of rust and a flattie with two 97s on top. Oh no, I've said too much.....the excitement builds ?

Well well well, where did we leave off, oh yeah three left. Got a nice chop done on the station wagon. Now time to clean up cuts and then get some paint down. Finally using my Latham blown Ardun flathead. Feels like forever and a day ago that I built it.
